The Pirates of Penzance Rescheduled for April 2007

The New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players production of The Pirates of Penzance previously announced for August 19 has been re-scheduled to April 2007.

Ticket holders to this event have been notified. Options include saving the tickets for use next April, exchanging tickets for another event this summer, contributing the value of the tickets to MLCPA as a tax-deductible contribution, or obtaining a full refund.

“We now know that mounting a fully-staged Gilbert and Sullivan operetta and marketing it as part of a summer concert series needs more time and attention than we have been able to give it,” said Mountain Laurel Center CEO Richard T. Bryant. “We remain committed to this type of project, however, and plan to keep working in the community and the schools until we get the job done.”
