NEW YORK GILBERT & SULLIVAN PLAYERS, Albert Bergeret, Artistic Director in
THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE
The dynamic performers of the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players present an exuberant production of the best-loved work in the G&S repertoire: the rollicking Pirates of Penzance. Since its debut in New York in 1879 (the only G&S work to receive its premiere in the U.S.), Pirates has been cherished for its effervescent score, swashbuckling buccaneers, bumbling British bobbies, frolicksome Victorian maidens and the delightfully dotty “model of a modern Major-General.” This musical-theater masterpiece, directed by Albert Bergeret with choreography by Bill Fabris, includes a live orchestra, chorus and powerful soloists. Sail your way to the show and let Pirates steal your heart away!
Inside reserved seating: $25-$45. Lawn seating not available.
